The year is 2172, and the New Justice System has been hiding the truth. They have been sentencing innocent and guilty people to Time Prison Displacement. A newly created device that will displace prisoners everywhere in the world to die any way the Time Agent sees fit. But Quinn Webber doesn’t know this until he’s sent to the past, tracking a criminal from the future who stole the new time-travel device.

Trapped in 1898, Quinn Webber, an agent for the NJS, does the only thing he can think of to be rescued. He writes in a journal and hides it in the home he lives in, hoping someone from the future will save him. But he didn’t think he could fall in love so quickly with his rescuer.
